First, I'll get this out of the way: the coffee is only so-so. Generic and lukewarm. While it's not expensive, it's not worth the money when DD is across the street. But, that's not the reason you go. You go for the donuts. And for these donuts, I won't go to DD again. The apple fritter seems to be a foot in diameter-I'm probably exaggerating. The wife and I shared it. Some AFs are denser and sweeter. Some are fluffier/cakier and less sweet. Both have pros and cons. This one was denser and sweeter. Despite the fact that I ate my entire portion, I was essentially full and at my sugar limit after only half of my half. The powdered cream stick (kind of a weird name) was good, but mine only had cream halfway through. Still good in my books, but it should have cream the whole way through. It's called a "stick" for a reason, as opposed to a donut. Will definitely go back. I want to try some of the chocolate donuts next time.

I don't know how, but the donuts in this location aren't quite as good as the Bridgeport location. It's probably just a mental thing.

I had basically given up on donuts until I went to Suzy-Jo's. They have natural flavorings and aren't overly sweet like the chain stores. Be on the lookout for the maple-bacon and pumpkin glazed seasonal specialties!

I went on a weekday morning and the donuts were kinda stale. I tried two kinds, Bavarian and the simple Glaze. The creme inside the Bavarian was alright, not too sweet, but the bread itself was a little tough. Maybe I should've tried the PB donut that everyone likes? That still doesn't explain the staleness.

Amazing product... they recently upped their prices, but you can't blame them and it's totally worth it. Just get their early... the amazing peanut butter donuts are almost always out of stock.

Visited this morning to pick up two half dozens. Good selection but the lady who was working there was so rude! She spoke to me in a harsh tone and was very short. She was annoyed when I was asking her to explain the fillings in the different donuts. It felt like I was inconveniencing her. What an awful feeling!

Eye opener... $2.00 for a classic glaze and baraign creme... I'm def not liking the prices, but it didn't deter this donut girl. The donuts were nice and large, but after the first bite... you know they were sitting in the case for awhile. Better than your typical donut chains, but I won't be craving these donuts.

I've had almost every flavor they have and they are all excellent with two of my favorites being peanut butter fluff and bacon maple. Once you go suzy-jo you can't go back to others.

We came in kinda late, around noon, so the selection was well picked over. But the lady working was very nice and took the time to explain the selection available and which donuts were the most popular, which was very much appreciated. We ended up getting a dozen and she added in a glazed one for free when she saw we had trouble choosing our final 12th donut. Our total was $8.80 so really, I have nothing bad to say about Suzy-Jo Donuts! We will be back at an earlier time to try out their other options.

Convenient location, easy parking, great assortment of donuts, great service & they open very early, even on weekends. I've tried the apple fritter (which is huge) & the cream filled chocolate glazed donuts. Both are delicious & filling. They're also easy to work with - if you need to grab a box you can call ahead & they'll have it ready for you, just let them know what you want. Very efficient business! Besides the apple fritter & cinnamon twist, all donuts are the same price - they have something for every donut lover :)

Oh wow, the peanut butter fluff donut is amazing with a light, not-too-sweet whipped pb filling, light shell, chocolate icing, and a very generous sprinkling of chopped peanuts on top. The coconut custard is delish as well with a custard cream filling and plenty of shredded coconut on top. Yep...I need to move so that I'm not within walking distance. It's simply too dangerous. $8 for a dozen HUGE donuts. A donut here is easily the size of 2 donuts from Dunkin.

Their cream cheese filled donut is insane in the membrane. And only 90 cents! It was less sweet than I thought it'd be (a good thing), and is way better than local "donut" chains. This Suzy-Jo Donuts location has friendly service and plenty of easy shopping center parking.

I thought this place was great until my husband went in and when no one was manning the register he heard the person working flush the toliet and then come out to serve him without washing their hands! We can't go back unfortunately.

Awesome sums it up. This place has a nice selection of bakery-fresh donuts. I've tried a bunch and they have all been absolutely delicious...as another already commented, you can taste the difference between Suzy Jo's and the otherwise popular donut chain. Let's just say that I don't waste my calories on chain-brand donuts anymore! Suzy Jo hooks it up: .90 each or 7.75/doz. Service is fantastic, especially during the week when Darlene is working the counter! I highly recommend this place whether you want a single donut or enough to feed a crowd.

Bought a dozen donuts here for work the other day. They were very fresh tasting and real hit with everyone. You could tell these were bakery fresh and made with good ingredients. Huge difference over Dunkin Donuts and the like. If you are in the area check it out.

The have the best donuts in the Blue Bell area hands down! It is definitely best to get there early for the best selection, as I have gone later in the day and they don't have much left. My daughter is obsessed with the chocolate covered with sprinkles.

So... Damn... Good. 4 1/2 Stars. Their flavors are very creative and they are NOT GREASY!!! Much more enjoyable than a typical donut chain donut. These are fresh baked in the middle of the night in their original location and then delivered every morning to this shop. The woman at the counter on weekday mornings is just as pleasant as could be. Not sure of her name but she has white hair and is very friendly and chatty. Suzy-Jo is around the back of this little strip plaza, so don't blink. The only reason that they don't get a 5 star is because Donut Planet in NYC makes the most impossibly delicious donuts on the planet.

I was hoping for so much more from these donuts. Maybe I came at the wrong time of the day but the glazed donuts were rather heavy and chewy, where i prefer them to by light with some texture. I'll try them again because they are close by, but it's still not something that I really plan on doing soon when there are better alternatives.

The donuts are good but Suzy-Jo (or who ever the lady was that helped us) was a bit rude, maybe it was the jealous friend of Suzy-Jo. She was not welcoming therefore I am not coming back. I am sure there are plenty of other shops that will satisfy my donut craving when I am in the mood.

My coworker always brings in Suzy Jo donuts, so I had to try them out. The ones he brings are very creative in flavors and the classics are delish. We walked in on Saturday just before noon and the selection was pretty typical but there were a few new ones to me. When we asked what some donuts were the girl at the counter didn't know, she said "peanut butter or apple peanut butter, something like that" literally. There was another girl working there too, but she didn't ask for help to clarify what those donuts were. We ate the donuts later that day and they tasted like they sat at the counter for a few days. The filling in several donuts tasted yummy, but the dough was stale.

Finally tried the Blue Bell branch of Suzy Jos. They do not make the donuts here, but they are still quite fresh. Had a glazed and a pumpkin. The latter was quite small and lacking in spice flavor. The former was good, but heavier than I want in a yeast donut. Will go back.

4 donuts for $3.60. Blueberry, cream cheese, coconut, and white cream. All yummy. Seemed to catch it at a down time - 12:30 on a Saturday - racks were only 1/3 - 1/2 full. The girl working the counter was reading a textbook and didn't seem thrilled to have to entertain customers, either. We'll try it again sometime and see if we can get a 5-star experience.

Friendly, fun and a GREAT Value. Strawberry Cream Donut was very unique. Be sure to grab a few here before going over to Tiger II's for breakfast. You'll need it for sustenance while you wait for your food.
